As you may know, my brother from AK passed in Sept. His kids, two boys-men now, are going to put his ashes in the Iliamna River on the 4th of July - I hope it works as it is a holiday and you can only get to Iliamna by air - it's a long story. My brother put our dad's ashes in the river and I will be taking my dad's best friend's ashes up to place as well. They all liked to fish that river together - (sockeyes). I missed it and now I have to fish it by myself. We never got to the Arctic for shee fish either.

Anyway, I'm leaving the 27th of Jun and am going to take my time driving up to AK for this event. I have my lists made, and got most work done one on the Land Rover, and will be squared away by the ETD.

I'm going to drive the Cassiar Highway back and stop along the way to trout fish at some places my friend Sandy told me about. I'm in no hurry.

How was the trip? I'm sure your brother appreciated it. I'm sure he knew if it got you up to AK you would appreciate it too.
